The 3-position manual slider button allows the blade to stay locked in three positions - fully extended, semi-protruding, or fully hidden. The zirconium oxide ceramic blade with a rounded tip ensures safety as it is non-conductive, anti-magnetic, and never rusts. In fact, it stays sharp up to 10 times longer than steel blades, making it a durable and reliable tool for everyday use.

With one slice ceramic blade being equivalent to up to 20 metal blades, you'll spend less time changing blades and more time getting the job done. The simple no-tool blade change feature makes it easy to switch out blades (replacement SKU# 10404 or 10408) for added convenience.

Designed primarily for cutting corrugated packaging, foam, vinyl, boxes, and cardboard, the ceramic blade only protrudes 1/2". For cutting paper and thinner items, you can try the slice 00116 precision cutter or 00100 safety cutter, or use the pointed blades 10408 for more precision.
